What it does

Lets you search thousands of sponsor licence records by organisation name, town or city, region, or industry sector — and see key details at a glance without downloading or parsing raw files.

Where the data comes from

Sponsor records come from the official Home Office publication on GOV.UK. Some fields (like region and broad sector groupings) are derived from other public datasets to make the register easier to explore.

Who it is for

Job seekers verifying an employer before applying, recruiters and HR teams researching sponsors, and anyone who needs a quick way to check sponsor licence status.

Independent and informational

This site is independent and has no affiliation with any government department. It does not provide legal or immigration advice. Source details and licensing are listed on the Sources page.

More information

The goal is simple: help you verify sponsor licence records quickly and confidently, with clear sources and minimal noise.

How to use it (recommended workflow)

A practical way to use the site:

  • Search the organisation name (or a partial name if spelling varies).
  • Confirm the status and route shown in the record.
  • Check “Newly added” to discover organisations that have recently appeared on the register.
  • Cross-check on GOV.UK using the official link on the Sources page when you need absolute certainty.

What “Active”, “Removed”, and “Newly added” mean

The Home Office register changes over time. This site keeps a historical view so you can see what has changed between updates.

  • Active means the organisation appears in the latest dataset currently loaded on this site.
  • Removed means a previously active record no longer appears in the latest dataset (for the selected time window).
  • Newly added means a record appears in a newer dataset that was not present previously (for the selected time window).

Organisations can change name formatting or location fields between updates. Where that happens, the official GOV.UK publication should be treated as the source of truth.

Accuracy and limitations

This is an independently run service. While the data is refreshed regularly, there may be delays, upstream publication issues, or edge cases in how organisations are represented in public registers. This site does not provide legal or immigration advice.

Advertising and independence

To help cover hosting and maintenance, this site may display advertising (for example, via Google AdSense). Ads do not influence the dataset, rankings, or which organisations appear in results. There is no paid placement within the register data.

You can read more about cookies and advertising in the Privacy policy.

Feedback and corrections

If you spot a data issue or have a feature request, please use the Contact page. Including the organisation name, town/city, and the route you searched for helps the issue be checked faster.
